I have had some of these towel racks in a second bathroom for years and they still look as good as new. When it was time to replace a set of wooden and aged towel bars in our family bath, I chose the Moens. This came well packaged. The parts are not solid wood but pressed MDF/particle board with a white finish. I was OK with that as it was listed. It assembles pretty easy but you need to be careful with the white coating as it can be scratched fairly easily. Overall, it works good but is not a show piece. I would buy another one for my other bathrooms.

I received this today and finally got it together. It didn't take as long as I expected but longer than I wanted. It looks nice in my bathroom despite all I had to do to get it to work. One of the side pieces on the lower half was the wrong piece. I actually received 2 of the same side and had to drill out holes to fit the pieces together. Other than that, it went together fairly easy. The mismatched sides are the reason for 3 stars instead of 4 stars. I have installed 100's of towel bars and never seen one engineered to fail like this one. I have installed this thing three times today and it is JUNK! The styling is nice. I love it in fact, that is why I bought it. It was to replace a Kohler double towel bar. Well, there is about 1/16" play where the bars enter the mount attached to the wall so they WILL fall out. Using the template and level each time it fails, not enough of the bar enters the mount. They should give a lifetime warranty... it will never be used because the thing won't ever work long enough to break! Save yourself the trouble, buy a different brand.

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. I ordered this towel bar, along with several other matching Delta accessories. They all install using the exact same technique, and I haven't had a bit of trouble with any of them. I bought this years ago, and it's been in three different bathrooms of mine. I couldn't leave it behind when I moved it's fabulous. It holds so many things, I can't imagine living without it. (It does need to be mounted into studs or something, so when you take it down, there will be big holes.)
This product comes un-assembled. It only took me 5 minutes to get it together. Super easy!
Tips: Make sure you put the hanging racks in place BEFORE you finish screwing it together.. and start by just finger-tightening the screws. Once you have everything together, then you can go around and finish tightening them down. I didn't do this, and it ended up kind of lopsided. After I loosened a few, and got it all straightened up, it was perfect! (The screw-holes were even placed the exact width of my wall studs haha)
Definitely worth the money! I get compliments on it all the time. My mother-in-law even wants it!!

We bought this to mount above our toilet since we didn't want a clunky wooden cabinet (they all looked so old and boring). It was easy to assemble (make sure to add the towel racks before tightening it all together) and mount to the wall. The shelves are a bit on the shallow side, but not too bad. The only downside to this unit is that I've noticed a small amount of rust on the underside of the shelves due to the amount of moisture in the bathroom.Otherwise this guy looks AWESOME and you can't beat the price!
UPDATE:
Had to knock this down from 4 to 2 stars. The amount of rust that has accumulated on this thing since I bought it is CRAZY! For a bathroom shelf, they didn't really think this one through.

After buying a new vinyl curtain liner every six months, I was looking for a more environmentally-friendly alternative. This curtain/liner really fits the bill, it's great quality with a nice drape. I find it keeps the water out 100%, and dries out completely between showers. I modified it slightly, using safety pins to double it up and make it shorter so that the ends wouldn't get soaked while I shower -I'm anticipating that will allow for a longer period between washings.I use it along with my decorative curtain, but it could easily stand alone. It really classes up the joint (and by "the joint" I mean "my bathroom").

I am using this as a shower liner. It works as one would expect, but a word of caution... If you are going to use this as a liner, 2 things: It is very long, I had to have mine sewn a number of inches from the bottom. Second you have to have the liner facing the correct way or else water will slowly permeate it. Originally I put the liner up backwards because it looks better from the inside of the shower. Little did I know it seems it is only water proof on one side and as soon as I flipped it around, no issues.The Material is nice, was surprised at it.
Only have had it for a couple of months, will update it gets moldy or anything else.

. . . . in light of all the glowing reviews read, and based on other purchasers' experience I purchased this product. Looks good, very wide as advertised, but disappointingly inconsistent. Followed all instructions, to the letter, but never managed to get it to weigh the same twice. Both my husband and I tried, and both got varying weights. Not helpful when embarking on a weight reduction regime, so it is unfortunately having to go back. Thank goodness Amazon's return system is so user-friendly.Update August 1st 2010
I was somewhat surprised to receive an email response from the Vice President of EatSmart Products within about 20 minutes of the posting the above. He assured me I must have received a lemon (his words), which apparently happens from time to time. He also went on to say, and I quote, "I was hoping to get you a replacement immediately under our warranty program. Its the least we can do after putting a defective product in your hands."
I was duly impressed and told him so in my responding email. However, to date I have not received a replacement, nor do I now expect/want one to arrive. Having re-read other reviews of this and other EatSmart models, I believe this model is, in fact, a lemon. Other models seem to be consistently accurate, whereas, it appears, this particular model is not.
I am now looking elsewhere for a consistent and accurate scale.
Further update August 4th 2010
Today I received an unexpected package via FedEx. I had duly returned my 'lemon' and received a refund. I thought that was the end of the story. Not so! A new scale from EatSmart Products, with a letter from the Vice President, apologizing for the lemon and enclosing a new scale, which, he informed me, has been thoroughly tested for accuracy.
This accuracy I can confirm. Both my husband and I tested, and re-tested, and there was never a variation. I even tested it with one of my cats spot on each time.
EatSmart clearly stand by their products, recognise there are ocassional flaws, and quickly correct the situation. I am a very impressed and happy customer. Obviously a company which values their name and reputation, and rightly so.
Correction: After making this review, the VP of EatSmart products attempted to contact me regarding my dissatisfaction with their scale. After being unable to reach me, they sent me a replacement along with an explanation that I'd probably received a lemon. I'm incredibly impressed with their superior customer service.
UPDATE: 2 years later, this scale is still incredibly accurate & going strong. :)This is by far the best scale I have ever owned. I love the oversized platform, the clean look of it and that it only requires two batteries. You get the same weight no matter how many times you step on and off right in a row. I did this with every family member in my home to be sure it was accurate. It was right on every time. The prompt delivery by the company was a big plus.Overall a very good scale with only one small issue I found.
-Nice looking, no problem keeping it out all the time.
-Nice and wide so no having to have your feet awkwardly close together.
-Best display I have seen on a scale, super easy to read.
-Sensitivity is good with the following exception:
If you weight yourself, let the scale turn off then weight yourself again after removing some clothing or picking up a small object (that weighs about half a pound or so) the scale will read the exact same weight as before. You can see the scale settling on the new weight then switches to the old weight right before flashing the weight. I am not sure how long it takes for the scale to reset that behavior.
Its not much of a big deal to me as it doesn't affect how I use the scale. Though users who report that it has great repeatability should note that it is designed to be that way.I was looking for a scale and had been doing a fair amount of looking around the net in order to find one that would be both consistent and accurate. Well, I found this model that says it'll handle up to 440 lbs. I am about 6'1" and weigh 185.(according to the scale) I was a little apprehensive at first when I saw this model with all the others listed. I then began to read the small handful of reviews that were listed at the time. I simply wanted a unit that I could rely on and wouldn't have all the bells and whistles that are offered on some of the other brands/models. I didn't find out until later that the reason there were not many reviews was because this model was in fact brand new and had just come out.
My order experience could have been better but to be honest, I'm glad it happened the way that it did. The day the scale showed up at my door it was defective. I had un-boxed it, inserted the two AAA batteries which it came with, and turned it over, set it down, stepped on it, and nothing. For some reason it was not working. Needless to say it was a pretty basic problem and I was able to fix it and it has been working ever since. After I fixed it I contacted the manufacturer to let them know about the problem I had with my scale, and after I received a very fast response from them I was thrilled to be a proud owner of a new EatSmart scale. So, even though I had a problem at first I can honestly say that I can recommend this scale to anyone. The company will stand behind the product. Order with confidence! First, this part is bigger than it looks in the picture. It sticks out 4.5 inches from the wall and is almost 3 inches wide.Second, the only metal is a small 90 degree elbow pipe connection from the wall to the hose (hose not included). Everything else is plastic. That said, the plastic feels substantial and the outer shell appears to have a thick plating of chrome. I don't know how long the finish will last.
If you were hoping for a solid brass fixture, look somewhere else. I think it looks OK, so I will be keeping it.
