Painted the bathroom; I think the paint was labelled 'Sunshine Orange'. Turned out to be pretty close to what I use to know as salmon. White contrasts well. Solid piece. Will give you just about as much trouble as you think to get it up.

White towel bars are hard to find. Thank heavens Moen makes such attractive and sturdy ones. We remodeled our bathroom using a white/yellow/tan color scheme. Using white towel bars gives the room a very clean, modern look. Moen is the only brand we use in fixtures--their products always hold up well, and we've never experienced a problem. This 18" towel bar was used directly in the bathtub/shower area. In order to reuse the existing holes and wall anchors, we cut about an inch off (with a hack saw) from the metal towel bar. It sits inside the brackets by about 3/8 of an inch, so it's impossible to detect the bar was even cut. Prices for the Aspen collection (robe hook, 18 or 24" towel bar, paper holder & towel ring) fluctuate quite a bit. If you have the time and patience, these occasionally sell at great prices and will make any bathroom look crisp and clean.

I bought these because the description clearly states that they are made in the USA. However when they arrived the packages says made in China.

I have had some of these towel racks in a second bathroom for years and they still look as good as new. When it was time to replace a set of wooden and aged towel bars in our family bath, I chose the Moens. What I like about them is that if your size isn't quite "standard" as it is in our older home, the bar can be cut down and it works very well. A very nice product.

I purchased a few of these for my tenants and they installed pretty easily and look great. It was a little tricky to get them to be the same height and spacing in the bathroom from the wall/shower but this seems like something I'd have to deal with no matter which towel bars I got.
