The screw that holds the toilet paper roll for use does not hold the toilet papper holder...it is constantly falling off and have to be re-screwed on. I bough two of these and one is staying on, but is constantly getting out of alignment...leaning...and the other one is constantly falling off...I do not reccoment this item and am very unhappy.

This great looking toilet paper caddy has a major functional flaw. The roll that holds the toilet paper roll is made of lightweight plastic and is held into the metal part of the caddy by two very small end "nubs" @ ¼". Since they are so small they fall out with the least bit of pressure. I had an additional problem in that the item arrived damaged the nubs were broken off! I have returned the item and am waiting for a credit.

Item looked nice on Amazon, but the majority of the previous reviews were correct.

The paper roll holder is made out of very, very thin plastic and one of its ends had broken off in shipment. The upper part of the stand that the above broken part pops into, is not designed with deep enough recesses to lock into anyway. The base is weighted, and it is covered with molded on rubber that was poorly done and makes the base look like itis dented. It looks cheap to me, even though the item costs enough to be made much better. I packed it up and sent it back the same day I received it.

When I took the manufacturer's box out of the shipping carton, I thought a rodent had chewed through the box, but it was the screw sticking out the base that hat punctured the box and chewed it all up. I was concerned aobut mouse/rat droppings, but it was not the case.

I don't have much good to say about this product, and I should have taken the previous reviews more seriously. sometimes you read a mix of reviews, because you can't please everyone, and say, I'll see for myself.

My Husbands reading material is off the floor, we don't run out of paper because you always have extra... and I like that you can put a roll on the top to use which is very convienient. It hits the mark on all things important to us. Great buy, happy we did it.
