This is very different from your standard tp holder. The bar pivots up, so it's easy to put the roll on. Also the roll does not fly off when you tear the paper. It is very solid and a very pretty brushed nickel finish. Only note is that your installer needs to know what he/she is doing so that it doesn't wobble. My contractor had to try three times to get it right but I think it's because he didn't initially read the instructions. We got two of them and they are both holding up very well. It is an elegant fixture for (let's face it) a somewhat homely and utilitarian item.
I will buy another or one similar for other bathrooms.
