Sprite HOB-BN-A Brass High Output Shower Filter

I cannot recommend the Sprite HOB High Output shower filter high enough. Firstly, I would like to say it was super easy to take out of the box, and screw on. It is very sturdy, heavy for its size, and beautiful to look at. I have been using it for over two months now, and it still looks brand new, with no water spots, and it works like new too. After attaching the filter the water instantly feels and smells wonderful, and leaves my hair and skin feeling baby soft. The hard water and bad odors are now completely gone. I have never seen or used a water filter that is so well constructed and beautiful to look at. This water filter is a true high quality product, which is so hard to find these days. After researching many water filters, I found that this one, and other solid metal water filters made by sprite, were the best available for quality construction, function, and price that can be purchased today.

I was surprised just how sturdy and well built this shower head was when it arrived. I kind of expected a plastic thing with some kind of metal coating.

But no, this is a well built piece of equipment. Sprite uses KDF, a granular metallic substance, to filter chlorine and other substances from your water. This process is much better than using carbon filtration that just can't keep up with the high volume flow of shower heads.

This is marketed as a high-volume shower head. It is pretty good. It is much better than other products I have used. It did, however, cut down my flow or volume quite a bit. I'm still very happy with the results. My wife was experiencing the beginning stages of palm flux eczema from the higher levels of chlorine in our well water. We have had this filter installed for three months now and her eczema has already begun to go away.

Very easy to install. No skill required. You just need a good wrench or set of pliers and within five minutes you'll have this filter screwed on and ready to go.

Highly recommended for anybody dealing with high levels of chlorine or other water issue.

We have well water that has a high mineral content. Tastes great (if you like that sort of metalic taste), but for your hair and laundry not so much. My hair always felt like straw. I tried this on a recommendation and and amazed at how much difference it makes. The shower walls and tub are much cleaner too the soap haze is significantly reduced.

For what it's worth, the laundry improves dramatically with Washing Soda in the rinse water even the drum is shinny now. I could not figure out a good way to use for my hair though, and this filter is effortless.
