I got this at Home Depot for less than $60.00 so it is well worth looking around.

When first installed we were a bit disappointed in the flow from the shower head. My wife didn't think there was enough water flow to wash and rinse her hair. We have very good water pressure, (70 PSI based on the annual backflow test), but I think all new shower heads restrict flow. Removing the rubber gasket and the screen there is a rubber O-ring that is easy to remove and restore useable flow through the shower head. That is the only reason I gave the shower head 4 stars rather than 5.

After the simple modification we are pleased with the performance of this shower head.

NEVER will buy any plumbing again with the plastic connections. I'm not sure if the damage was done before I bought it, or while it was in packaging in my car, but the plastic connection is so soft that any pressure warps the threads. I was soooo excited about getting a wide spray. It would not screw on straight. Even with a lot of plumbers tape, the leak shot out across the shower.

Now have to replace with ANYTHING but this model, or any other with the plastic connection. As worthwhile as tissue paper handkerchief. Good for one use only. MAYBE good for a handkerchief. Not for the major component of any shower.
