Organize It All Lohas Spacesaver

First, let me thank Amazon for making the return of this product -not once, but twice -simple and straightforward. If you buy this product, it is highly likely that you will be returning it as well. Save yourself some time and don't buy it.

The first one I ordered had the holes on the wrong side of one of the uprights due to a factory error. Assembly wasn't possible so I didn't unpack it in its entirety. The second one I assembled.

Although the bamboo itself looks okay, the design is extremely poor.

The shelves are held to the uprights only by screws rather than resting on side rails, which considerably weakens the strength of the shelves. The uprights are both provided as two pieces, but likewise don't connect together with "notches" or anything else to improve their strength, instead, again, they're held together only by screws. This makes it quite "wobbly."

Furthermore, the screws are so low quality that not one, but two, shattered during assembly, tearing the heads off, as they're simply not strong enough to bore through bamboo.

If you really need some shelves above your toilet, try some high quality wall mounted shelves. This product is a waste of time and money.

I bought one a year ago, and placed it in a large window for plants. It was great and assembled well.

So I ordered another for a bathroom. I was disappointed that

1) Two if the shelves split despite being pre-drilled

2) Two of the screws hex heads stripped using the cheap little hex wrench they include. Very hard to assemble.

3) One of the screws actually broke in half when I was screwing it in.

In the end it was too big for the space of my toilet, like another reviewer. I may try to cut it down and redrill holes.

I suspect they are using cheaper

This item looks fantastic! The wood looks to be a great quality, none of that pressed stuff. And such a good price too! It was packaged great. After assembly it is very sturdy, even though we didnt attach the horizontal bar at the bottom it simply didnt fit with our toilet. The shelf space is very roomy, all my oversize shampoos fit, which cannot be said about a lot of other similar products.

Recommend to everybody who is a space saver nut like me. :o)

This is basically a good product; looks good with strong shelves. BUT....upon unpacking, I found that 2 bottom sides, held together with pegs, were nearly all broken.It may have happened in the original shipping to the vendor, who knows? I chose to have my handy guy glue and insert a long, narrow screw into each area, and this should hold nearly forever. I probably should have returned it, but just couldn't face the fuss when I knew a good solution. So....if you buy, check all the joinings carefully. This may happen alot!
