Moen DN3622BN Inspirations 24-Inch Double Towel Bar, Brushed Nickel

Our three young kids share one small bathroom, so we needed a double towel bar. We looked at many. This item is very attractive, with crisp ridges (where the ridges belong)--Some cheap items have sloppy-looking corners and ridges. I hope that makes sense!--and the finish is bright, "luxurious"-looking chrome. This item holds four large bath towels easily, no crowding.

My only criticism could be predicted by the low price. The rods ARE separate from the end pieces, and they are hollow. Also, even though an experienced contractor installed this very carefully, the rods can be spun in the fittings and they rattle very slightly.

I am so tired of chrome, so doing a guest bath all in brushed nickel. Problem is, more $$$$. So, I looked and looked on Amazon warehouse and found this and a Moen faucet in the same finish. So perfect.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is a very pretty double towel rack. It does stand further away from the wall than a single towel rack, but that's to be expected. It isn't really an issue. The two bars are far enough apart to fit thick, fluffy towels on each and allow them to dry.

Installation is made very easy by Moen. A paper template is included. Just tape the paper to the wall where you want to mount the rack and use a level to make sure it's straight. Drill holes right were it's indicated on the paper, insert the anchors into the wall, place the metal brackets so the holes line up with the anchors and screw in the screws. Seriously, most people have the necessary tools in their tool box, but if you don't, a relative, friend or neighbor will.

For a moderately priced towel rack, this is nice looking and simple to install. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the bars could be a bit thicker. Hopefully, nobody will grab one of those thin bars to steady themselves and end of bending it in the process. You know how that goes in the bathroom anything that's hooked to the wall will end up being something to hang onto.

All of our faucets, hardware,knobs,and maybe the dogs...just kidding, need to be brushed nickel finish. She also will not tolerate anything that is cheaply made. The finish on this bar is first rate and looks wonderful. The bars are a substantial diameter and thickness, without seeming too bulky. The styling is pretty classic. It would fit into a number of decors. The mounting seems a bit delicate in appearance, however when properly installed it is quite strong and certainly able to handle heavy towels.

I do wish that the bar closest to the wall was a bit further away from the wall to allow for more adequate circulation in helping to dry the towels. But I loved this design so much that I added the rest of the collection to my bathroom for a completed look.
