InterDesign Formbu Towel Ring

I recently purchased 4 different bamboo accessories for our bathroom and had small issues with all of them:

First off they actually look pretty nice. All have a similar design that goes well with each other. All are bamboo with stainless steel on the ends etc. They all feel sturdy and in my opinion well worth the price.

But at first impression I have to say I felt a bit different as many of the stainless steel 'caps' on the end of the towel bars, hook, and toilet paper holder had fallen off. Also, if you look at the pictures you can see round bamboo pieces that sit inside the stainless steel...some of these came unglued. Pretty easy fix for all of that using a couple drops of super glue. Once I did that they looked brand new.

The mounting hardware is a bit cheap...well the screws are fine but the plastic wall anchors were horrible. I tried using them at first and some cracked or simple were too hard for the screws to thread in and made the anchor turn in the drywall.

I replaced them with some other plastic anchors I had lying around and worked like they should.

So I highly recommend super glue and wall anchors.

Other than that I think these are great quality and will last a long time. They have a darker color of bamboo but really look good. I hope this help.

This is your everyday average towel holder, easy to mount (I just bought some hollow wall hangers to use) It has been doing an excellent job in my house for about 10 months, no complaints!

The towel ring was pretty much what I was expecting. Ordered it to match a few other bamboo items in my bathroom.

I would suggest using your own wall anchors though if you are not drilling into a stud. The one that came with kit did not work well and I ended up having to rip them out and patch holes in my wall. Then I had to re-position where I wanted the rack to go. Was a big pain and could have easily been avoided with some decent wall anchors. I ended up using some that I already had.

This item works as it should. It doesn't seem as nice as I expected it to be but will go perfectly with all of other Bamboo items I bought for my bathroom. It is a really cool design.
