After returning from a long trip where we enjoyed many fantastic showers at boutique hotels, we decided it was time to upgrade our home shower experience. Looking through several possibilities, we purchased the Danze Multi-Function hoping for the best of both worlds -a drenching rain shower and a powerful massage.

Opening the box we were impressed with the beauty and heft, all metal where many shower heads have too much plastic. Easy to install. Alas, we were disappointed to discover that our good water-pressure was insufficient to drive this beast, even after removing the flow-limiter. In rain-mode, unless it was pointing straight down, not all the nozzles activated. In massage mode, the spray pattern was too narrow yet didn't feel strong. We returned it. This could be a five-star in a home where it were installed higher up the wall and with fantastic water-pressue.

While we're still looking for the ideal premium shower for our home, the next head we tried has a budget price yet does a great job of decreasing water usage while creating the illusion of luxurious pressure and volume: Delta Faucet 75152 Water Amplifying Adjustable Showerhead with H2OKINETIC Technology, Chrome

I bought this head before finding these reviews listing low flow rates, so I was worried. However, the flow is very good...even with the flow restrictor in place and the head at a 45 degree tilt, all nozzles shooting a stream.

I have no idea what my water pressure is, but I had installed a Danze kitchen faucet where the flow was pitiful. After complaining, they told me how to remove 2 flow restrictors and that there was a third that they can't instruct how to remove. After removing all 3 it was fine, but my water pressure can't be that great.

You almost have to add an "S" extension for height. This thing weighs 3-1/2 lbs., leveraged on a 13" extension, your in wall plumbing better be properly secured.

It's wonderful, I'll be adding another one.

I took a chance and ordered this shower head even after reading the above review because the water pressure in my house is terrific. However it's not good enough for this shower head even after removing the restrictor. In both normal and massage modes the flow is barely better than a trickle.

Super high quality shower head. Really well made and looks great. Power of the jets is a little soft even with our sufficient water pressure. The massage jet function is just ok.
