Jewel Toned Double Mirror Compact

These jewel-toned double mirror compact were shown in a special pictorial in a teen fashion magazine. They looked pretty in the photo, magazine spread said they were a "must have" for teen's purse.

When I looked for these compacts on Amazon.com they were reasonable priced and came in different colors. For Christmas gifts I ordered 5 for all the teens in my family & friend's family, plus one for myself. When the package arrived, yes, there were the mirror compacts in perfect condition, no broken mirrors, and in different colors.

The size of these compact mirrors is perfect as the fashion magazine said, about palm-size to fit in a small purse, pocket of jacket or coat (though I would keep one in a purse.) The outside surface is smooth, will fit smoothly into a purse or pocket. The colors are true to the name, they are "Jewel-Toned" meaning the outside covers of the mirrored compact are in pearlescent jewel-like colors, as the compact is turned back & forth while holding it, the color seems to "shimmer" like a pearl or mother of pearl.

The selection of compact mirrors I received were in different colors, beautiful, pretty colors, no ugly colors. Though you don't get a choice of specific colors, ordering a number of these compacts worked to my advantage. Each teen I was giving a compact mirror to has a different color as their favorite choice. Simply, I asked their Moms to find out each teens favorite color or colors before Christmas. This gave me colors to write next to name of each teen, they would receive the color of mirror compact they liked best.

I've purposefully mentioned "teen" not just "teen girls" as I know teen boys who are in the cosmetic industry, work as make-up artists for the theater, music videos, fashion shows, etc. These jewel-toned compacts make great gifts to give to clients & friends. The receiver of the gift may remember the gift-giver as these mirror compacts look special not ordinary. Thoughtful, beautiful & in good taste. Could be upscaled with accompanying gifts of cosmetics, cologne, perfume, attractive cosmetic bag to hold them in.

For grandma's, aunties, friends of Mom's with teens, the price, the difference in colors, buy a number of these & keep them aside for when the teens come for a visit with you. The compacts make great surprise gifts. If the teens aren't old enough for cosmetics, or parentss don't approve of comestics for their teens, purchase a supply of the "candy, soft drink, lipsticks" and the Chapstick SPF non-colored lipsticks to give as gifts with the mirrored compacts.

Spring & Summer will be approaching here in Florida, my friends will be coming for vacations, weekend getaways, etc. Time to buy some inexpensive gifts to tuck away and surprise the family while they are here.
