I thought, this one would be great. I figured, since it was supposed to be stainless, rust would not be an issue.
well, here is what I think:
when I put the caddy togther, I noticed that the post pieces are just beeing pushed together. without any plastic seals or anything which makes the pole kind o wobbely.
I only needed some of the pole pieces to reach from tub to ceiling. But under the tension of the spring the pole is bowed. I can only imagine how unstable this whole thing would be, if one uses all pieces provided like in a shower.
the baskets are nice and big, but held in place with only one tiny screw. that makes the baskets very wobbely, too.
one has to balance the shampoo bottles evenly, or the basket will tilt.
the little plastic foot on the bottom is made out of hard plastic. there is no way that this will keep the pole in place. It is way too slipery. I put a little piece of non slip shelf liner under it, that fixed the problem.
The description said, the caddy was stainless. After less than oe month it is rusting already.
All in all I have to say, I am very disappointed.
I wanted something decent. This item was not cheap, but in my opinion it is not worth its price!

Good, acutally terrific. this would not fit my ceiling to tub so i needed to cut some steel off. The baskets can not hold much heavy stuff or they will fall. Otherwise, great holding space for razors, hanging cloths, etc. I would probably get one again if i needed to.steel.Read Best Reviews of InterDesign Formbu Tension Caddy Here
I wasn't expecting top-drawer quality, but given the >$50 price (and I've seen it for close to $70 elsewhere), I expected something at least slightly better. Even by today's 'made in China' standards this item is a new low.First, the "bamboo" is so thin it resembles paper. If it had been described as 'decorative' it wouldn't be so bad, but the description implies this is at least partly made from bamboo. Second, because the parts were not uniform, assembly was frustrating and difficult. Finally, to add insult to injury, our ceilings (~7 ft) were apparently in-between sizes: adding the extra length meant that the tension pole could not be compressed enough to fit in the shower, but leaving it out made the unit about 3 4" too short. Also, if you tightened the top basket too much, it squeezed the top tube and impinged on the spring. An all-around piece of crud. I was very disappointed in this product. If I use all the extensions, it's too long to fit without bending the entire pole. If I remove one extension, it's too short. I think using more extensions, but making them shorter might solve the problem, but I cannot use it as is. It's not worth the money, time and packing to return it, so I'll probably give it to someone, or donate it.
