Some Basic Assembly Tips:

1. The shelves are design to fit snugly. When you insert each shelf onto the bar, work it on by gently pushing one side then the other. It will soon glide easily. No oil or WD is needed (and I would not recommend using either).

2. I waited to lock my shelves in place once I had the bar up and in position. I found I needed to move the shelves a bit more.

3. There is a directional arrow sticker on the bar that points to the top of the bar. The shelves must be inserted onto the bar starting at the bottom working upward in the direction of the arrow.

4. The locking clips are taped to the shelves for delivery. I suggest you remove the packing tape from each locking clip. It can become bunched up behind the clips while inserting the shelves onto the bar.

5. The shelf clips lock by pushing downward. They can only be inserted onto the bar in this direction. The shelf cannot be insert with the clip reversed.

This is an outstanding shower caddy. I looked at a lot of caddies and the reviews I found for them all said they rusted after a few months. If you read carefully, the boxes say rust "resistant". That means they will rust fairly soon and you will be replacing them constantly. This little gem is amazing and is made from stainless steel and aluminum. First off, assembly is a snap. Simply slide the trays into the track and snap them into position. Then just locate where you need. It includes 2 extension bars if your space is overly large. I was initially worried about the support of the main bar as I am at the very top end of the no extension bar needed range. This means the spring is not as tight. However, the concern was for naught as the rubber feet are more than sufficient to hold it in place at the springs tension.

I would like to make a couple of comments on some of the negative comments I have read. The first was the shelves won't hold 2 32oz bottles and allow for pumping. That is utter nonsense and all I can think is that person did not snap the shelf into place. The shelves were hard enough to move without it being snapped into position. However, once snapped into position they stay in the position.

The next concern was the tooth brush holders could not be removed. My first comment on that is don't put that shelf on. My next comment is they barely stick out and are hardly intrusive so there is no need to be concerned. My last comment on that is they will also hold a razor which is how we use it.

Overall this is a great shower caddy that will not rust, looks great, is easy to setup, and will last a long time. Do not hesitate to purchase.

I thought the price was a bit steep for a shower caddy, but I was getting tired of having to replace the cheaper ones every year or too. WOW. It was heavily built, well designed and was much more stable than the flimsy ones I have been buying. I contacted customer service to order an extra shelf (with the built in soap bar because my husband and I have different soaps) and was extremely pleased with them. They even emailed me pics of the different shelf styles to make sure I had the model numbers to choose the correct shelf. When I called to make the order, their CS rep was prompt, curteous and very helpful. Shipping was quick and I had my new shelf in 4 business days. Good product and good people to back it up.

I have always liked simplehuman, and I figured this would be up to their high standards. Still, I am really impressed by the quality, simplicity, and utility of this item. You take it out of the box, slide the pieces together in five minutes or less, and put it up like a vertical tension rod. The feet don't slip and the baskets hold up when full of heavy toiletries.

I had been looking at this for a while because I had previously used the snap-down suction cup shower baskets, which would fall down about once a week. No longer! If you have shower strewn with soaps and shampoos or annoying baskets that fall down all the time, do yourself a favor and buy this. It significantly improves a daily activity, and is worth every penny and more.

Just a quick note; I received this item a little late but no worries. The real issue is that when I opened it and began to slide it out of the box, I noticed that one of the 'wires' that comprise the top basket (as shipped) had broken loose from its weld. I did not proceed any further. The wires that form the trays do appear a bit skimpy when compared to products such as the KOHLER K-1896-S Medium Shower Basket, Polished Stainless but then these shelves must be individually mounted to the wall. (fyi, there are others out there in the market that are even better, but of course cost more.)

Since it was exposed, I examined the 'poll', what in essence is a sturdy aluminum extrusion.

I really wanted to like it, but I wish the baskets had been more substantially built, (that's the mechanic in me coming out).

Amazon's return procedure is flawless. Boxed it back up securely in original packing material and marked it for UPS next day pickup from my residence.

I bought this item on march 11, 2012 hoping for a soap dispenser made of real steel, as they advertise it, but once I opened I discovered it is made out of CHEAP PLASTIC, what is worse is that by march 29 (JUST 18 days later) YES 18!!! it was already broken!!!, not only there's false advertising for this product but I'm surprised amazon allows this kind of scamming business on it's website. I won't do any business with this seller ever again.

I ordered this product because the display for the entire line shows a two-toned metal with a more copper/antique bronze on top (in the pump part) and oil-rubbed bronze on bottom. This would match perfectly with my powder room. Product came in all oil-rubbed bronze so I returned and orderd another. The second one came exactly as the first, all oil-rubbed bronze. I called and discussed this with the customer service rep and she agreed the image is inaccurate. I returned the second one as well. Just be aware.

We already had this same product in blue for the living room, and we wanted to stainless steel version for our bathroom. I just wish it had the tabs at the bottom to keep the tissue box in place when you pick up the cover. When you lift the cover, the tissue box is left behind. If you don't need to move your tissues from a stationary position other than to refill, then this item is great.

This is a combination review since all of the pieces have to be right for the shower to meet your expectations.

I bought a Peerless 76311DWH Universal Showering Components, Hand Shower/ Shower Head Combo Pack, White ASIN B00A61P2X8. It is a showerhead and hand shower combination.

After I got everything sorted out, I like the setup. It has a good flow and pattern. The diverter valve works smoothly. It went together easily and only had to use a wrench to snug the shower valve connector to the shower arm. Make sure you put the washer in place in the shower valve connector before you assemble it. I have taken it apart and reassembled it several times while sorting things out and have never had a leak. The hose connectors have very small flats for a wrench in case you can't generate a gorilla grip to tighten the hose ends.

The first problem was the stock shower arm. The showerhead was going to hang too low. I replaced it with a 9" S-shape high-rise shower arm (like the ones listed below). I picked the arm because it was the smallest rise I could find off the shelf at the hardware store.

The second problem was that the high-rise arm had a 45-degree end. I didn't realize that, in my small shower, the swivel on the showerhead would not compensate for the angle of the arm. I discovered that if you wanted to shower, you had to do it pressed up against the wall of the shower.

I added the Opella 205.995.110 Swivel Ball, Chrome ASIN B0038FVDM8 and this corrected the problem. It was the right part for this job, not to mention the only one-part solution I found. I could have cobbled together an equivalent from various parts but was worried that I could have problems with leaks. The Opella is a high quality part.

When installing the Opella, I recommend wrapping the threads of the mating parts with Teflon tape. The Opella threads were to spec and the arm was at the low end of the spec so there was imperfect mating.

There is a washer in the Opella where it connects to the arm. Leave it in place or the joint will leak. The washer itself has a center mesh pattern and I didn't want to have to remove the Opella to clean it if it got clogged. I carefully cut the center out. It turns out that the washer is very soft and deforms easily without the center parts. I was able to get it to seal. If I hadn't gotten it to seal, the next step would have been a stiffer washer.

Knowing what I know now, I would have opted for the 90-degree arm and had fewer connections. The 45-degree arm and the Opella were about the same price as a 90-degree arm. Some examples of a 90-degree high-rise arms are below.

This shower curtain looks great in person. The leaves are green, khaki, pearl, and grey. I get a ton of complements on the shower curtain. It looks calm and sophisticated in my spa-like guest bathroom.

I'm very pleased with my shower curtain. The picture, however, is not accurate at least on my computer. InterDesign Formbu Toilet Tissue Holder, Brushed Stainless Steel/Bamboo

So I was hesitant to buy this because of the reviews that it rotates after a couple days. First thing I did once it arrived was test this, and of course, where the metal bar enters the bamboo rod, it rotates no problemo. Feeling like this was a waste of money I decided to "explore", and I found out that this item is assembled incorrectly, but can be fixed in about 5 minutes and it will work perfectly. (Which is what I ultimately wanted, because after looking at 50+ bathroom hardware sets, this is the only one that I wanted).

Here is what you will need to do. First use some pressure and pull the metal rod out of the bamboo shaft. You will see that at the end of the metal rod is a hole, and if you look into where you pulled it out of there is a small metal rod going through the bamboo shaft. This should of been installed through the hole, holding it in place. Since it wasn't, your TP holder will rotate around.

Now, pull off both side of the bamboo, they are both fitted around this center piece some some epoxy or super glue, just use a little pressure, twist them, and they should come right off.

You may have to clear off some old dried epoxy/glue, but once you have, you can push the small metal rod out with the end of a pen, or a hammer/nail. Now, simply insert the metal rod that attaches to the wall back into the hole it come out of, then once in, make sure its hole is lined up and place the small metal rod back into place, securing it in place. This took a little pressure, I ended up lightly hammering it in to get it secured. This was the only part that really took any effort, and is probably why the manufacturing skipped this step and made their product faulty. Then simple put some super glue for extra strength into the bamboo pieces, slide them back in, and voila you now have the product you originally wanted, working perfectly!

I wish I could post pictures, this literally took me 5 minutes without knowing what I was doing, you should be able to do it in no time, now that you know what is wrong, and how to fix it.

I ordered the Formbu Toilet Tissue Holder to match the other Formbu stuff I had bought at the hardware store. I installed the toilet tissue holder but since the design only has a mount on one side of the roll, somehow this thing start to swivel a few degrees. The flaw isn't that it moves because of how you have mounted it, but because there is wiggle room on how the stainless steel arm is mounted to the wall mount. This thing is unusable unless you like your toilet paper sliding off every time. The design flaw is unfortunate because it's a cool concept and aesthetically pleasing out of the box but not very functional.

I was so happy to see that this product was offered online because I had the matching towel holders. Well, the towel bars are holding up great, but this one only has one mount to the wall. It was about a week before it started to rotate. Haven't tried fixing it yet, but it is disappointing knowing that it needs adjustments right out of the box.

Blue wave - Spa Solar Cover 7' X 7' - 12 Mil

Product seems less thick than other 12mil solar covers I have used in the past. The warranty though says using in waters warmer than 90 degrees will invalidate the warranty and shorten the life. This is a bit odd since this is being sold as a "Spa" solar cover. Spas are usually over 100 degrees. I'll have to see how it holds over time

I'm happy with the Thickness of the product and it appears that it will last. But don't expect to buy this with the intension of heating ur hot tub. It's good to bump up the temp by a few degrees only in the day but definitely helps in keeping the heat in the water during the night, when used along with an insulated cover. To be fair I'm sure if my tub got more sun it would work better my tub only gets sun about 4 hours a day. But this product will never take the place of a true solar water heater.

I seriously love this thing. It's the perfect size for my shower and it matches the color too. I love the razor holder and I love the things that stick out to hold your loufa or whatever. However, my absolute favorite part of this is the holes at the top so you can put your almost empty shampoo or conditioner upside down. BEST IDEA EVER. Why haven't I seen this before? I can't even handle how awesome this is.

Does not have suction cups near the bottom of the rack so there is nothing to hold it in place. When I grab anything from the rack, thus changing the weight distribution, it causes the whole rack to swing. The rubber U clip that hangs it to the shower head is more like a hard plastic so it doesn't get a good grip on the shower head. Overall a precarious situation. Would not recommend.

This is an amazing piece of shower head engineering. Simple, perfectly executed, and functional. Has 3 settings--a soft rain-like shower, a harder heavier massage-like flow, and a strong fine-gauge stream. It manages to produce a very strong flow from even minimal water pressure, and it includes an accessible and cleanable filter to prevent clogs. I liked it so much, I bought another one for the other shower!

I purchased this showerhead not really expecting too much, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It really performed well pressure-wise. The rainwater mode (middle setting) is on the mild side, but I use it to soap up as to not waste water. Very easy to switch settings and the jet mode is excellent for rinsing the soap out of my hair. Better yet, I don't have to keep turning the cold water down to keep the tempurature of the water the same. I am a very fussy person when it comes to my showers and after numerous showerheads, this is the one! I've been re-doing two baths in my house, & was looking for some new shower heads. Tried a few brands and didn't find anything I liked even the pricier one I tried (Delta) turned out to be mostly plastic, and I didn't care for the spray patterns it produced.

I decided to buy this Grohe based on the review that said it was brass. It's not.

There is a metal pipe fitting that screws into the shower arm. The rest of the unit is plastic, which I expect will look bad in a few years...

However, that being said the head itself works very well. There is plenty of water flow*, it adjusts to several useful water streams, and seems sturdy enough for the time being.

Rather than keep experimenting, I bought a second Grohe for my project (these things are kinda costly to keep on with trial and error purchasing). Just be aware it is not a metal shell.

* The water restrictor here is a small black O-ring at the head inlet. Pull it out with a mechanis's pick and you are good to go.

Danielle Cylinder Acrylic Cotton Pad Dispenser

This holder is great! I love it. Instead of having a stack of cotton rounds falling over in my medicine cabinet there is now this lovely holder. Cotton rounds slip in through the top, are dispensed through the slot on the side and never fall over. The holder itself is heavy enough that it doesn't move around when pulling out cotton rounds or bumping it when grabbing other items in the medicine cabinet. It looks nice too. True it doesn't hold an entire tube's worth of cotton pads but I have always had to store what wasn't in the cabinet somewhere else. If the holder was taller it would be too big for my medicine cabinet shelf so it's perfect for me. Having this is a small thing...certainly nothing earth shattering but it makes the morning in particular just a litle bit easier and nicer. Who doesn't need that?

I wasn't expecting anything special about this cotton pad holder when I bought it after all, it's just a plastic cotton pad holder. But when I opened the box, I was shocked to find myself so excited about a simple bathroom organizer. It's very heavy, high-quality acrylic you can tell it's a good grade acrylic the minute you see it. It is heavy and sturdy and looks and feels more like glass than plastic. The lid fits snugly on the top, and it looks terrific on the bathroom counter.

This cylindrical container has both the appearance and weight/heft of quality, and seems durable. This is not the fragile, lightweight type of plastic. However, if I were to drop it on a concrete floor, it would likely crack, I'm guessing.

About the shape: Lately, when shopping for cotton cosmetic pads, either the local store only has square ones, or the square ones happen to be more affordable on that day, and that's what I gotten. So now I have square-shaped cotton crammed into the round-shaped dispenser, with corners protruding a little from the opening in the side wall. It still works OK; it just doesn't look quite as nice as it would with the round cotton.

I bought this Cotton Pad Dispenser for myself and I really liked it. So on the day I received mine, I decided to order another one for my mom. Since I have received my Cotton Pad Dispense very recently, I know in what box it comes in and what it looks like. However, when I received the item I ordered for my mom, it came in a plain white box which was NOT a box mine was in. When I opened it, the quality was far from the one that I have received before; it was very cheap looking and has scratches on its lid. They also look different. I looked at the bottom of both dispenser to find out that one that I have ordered before was indeed the Danielle Product whereas this one is not. I am very very disappointed at the seller that they would advertise Danielle Cylinder Acrylic Cotton Pad Dispenser and ship out some China shit. I am so upset right now.

This surface mount toilet paper holder looks good and has a very solid feel. I wish the bar that holds the roll was as sturdy as the 'arms', but it's still a winner. I bought satin nickel and the price JUMPED big time; but compared to other ones this one was worth the premium to me --especially in person.

Purchased the entire Forte set and this is rates slightly under the Robe Hook for sturdiness. So far it hasn't pulled off the wall or started any annoying rocking. I'd prefer a more substantial tissue holder for the roll and that's why I'm rating it as only okay. Roll holder makes it seem like a cheaply made product. Have noticed Kohler products lately (everything from faucets to toilets) aren't made as well as they used to be. Maybe the Kohler you buy at a plumbing supply company is better but I started getting them from the big box stores or online thinking they'd be the same quality at a lower price.

Decko #38170 24" Chrome Towel Bar

If you are attaching the towel bar to existing trim on the wall, it's fine as packaged. The instructions say to only use the included screws, but that's not going to usually work out. If you need to screw through the wall to studs, the provided screws are too short and are impossible if your wall is not made of drywall (mine isn't drywall). In that case, you have a few installation choices.

1) According to the included instructions, you could buy those expanding anchors things to attach the bar directly to drywall (I couldn't even do that since my wall is like cement coated wood). This is a terrible idea for a towel bar that would hold heavy towels: I can guarantee it would loosen and eventually fall off leaving big holes in your drywall. The angular shape of the bar kind of grips the towels as you pull them off, creating even more force to rip the bar off the wall. I can see why anchors were not included.

2) Buy some trim made of wood, and finishing nails, making sure you nail through the wall material to the studs, then use the provided screws to mount the bar to the new trim.

3) If your studs happen to be 24" apart (rare) then use longer wood or drywall screws to screw through the wall material directly to the studs behind. If your studs are not 12 or 24 inches apart (they are usually 18 inches apart) and there's no other wood behind the drywall (or whatever your wall is made of), you'll have to use another method.

4) In my case, the studs are covered by wood which is covered by a thin layer of a cement type of material. I was able to just use drywall screws (that I happened to already have) to screw through the cement to the wood without worrying too much about the location of the studs, although I did put one side over a stud to be safe.

The instructions don't say it, but seems pretty obvious to me that the towel bar should be positioned with the screw holes on top since most of the force will be downward. Seems like they should have put one screw hole on top and one on bottom for each side, or 4 screw holes on each side 2 top 2 bottom, but with only two holes on each side and both in the same orientation, put the holes on top (so unfortunately, your screws will be very visible). If you put the screws on the bottom, the downward pull of the towels would tend to pry the unscrewed top away from the wall.

I bought this bar as a replacement for one in my girlfriend's house, it was built in the 50's and this was an exact duplicate. The bar works fine.

Gave these 4 stars because the product is sturdy and reliable. I bought these after I purchased my fixer up house. There were no towel or toilet paper holders in either bathroom. These are not for an up to date decked out bath but are great for someone needing a solution until they can get the good stuff.

A side note, not good for old dry walls like 70's 80's. Dry wall from then seems very brittle and doesn't hold anchors very well.

I recommend these to anyone waiting to fix up a bath that is old.

Danze D441600RB Bannockburn 18-Inch Towel Bar, Oil Rubbed Bronze

This towel bar consist of a pinkish red color much closer to the color of copper than oil rubbed bronze. In reality closer to the pinkish than red, and the color is noticeably different when near other "oil rubbed bronze" accessories such as door knobs and faucets other than Danze products. Danze faucets have a superior feel to them for the most part, but this product has a light weight feel (obviously not brass). They are reasonable in price, and you get what you pay for with these, an inexpensive product that doesn't fit well with other accessories with oil rubbed finish.

The Danze products we used are very high quality. I needed to add this single 18" towel bar to the other items we had bought after I determined that one of the double rod versions would not fit on a wall where the closet door opened up against the towel bar. The instructions and hardware made it easy to install. Drill one pilot hole for the plastic wall anchors, use a philips screw driver to tighten the anchor into the sheetrock, attach the metal bracket with the metal screws, and then attach the ends using the small tap screw. We also purchased the Bannockburn fixtures for the sinks and shower. We have been very happy with the quality of the products.

InterDesign Formbu Soap Dish

Pretty nice item. Clear plastic has stayed thus for a while now, so I will assume it will continue to. No drain holes, which means you need to upend it daily, but otherwise a fine product.

No drainage holes so soap stays wet, bamboo is nice though. Would be a much better product if water could drain.

I was looking for fairly cheap soap dish. A bar of Ivory soap fits into this dish, but not 2 pieces of soap saver knobby things. Bed and Bath and beyond used to sell perfect size dish and cheap, but discontinued. Amazon dishes are little too big or too costly, and this one is too small for the soap savers. This dish also has bamboo bottom that looks nice now but it can not be removed for cleaning. The bottom of it is fastened by melting the plastic against a hole, but this plastic tab has to be drilled or cut out to remove the bottom tray.

This is an awesome spray for a phenomenal price. I tried out the Danze first, which was decent but this American Standard is way better probably because it puts out 2.5 GPM in contrast to the Danze which only puts out 1.4 GPM. That extra water makes a big difference. The spray is powerful and wide spread. I also love the two different functions normal spray and the stronger massage spray. To test it out I hooked it up to where the shower head usually goes since my plumbing wasn't installed for the body sprays yet. I was actually able to wash my hair under it, which is incredible considering this is not meant for that at all. I can't wait to have my plumber install this in the shower wall. It's going to feel AWESOME on my back .... I just know it!!
