Used the template came with the holder to drilled the holes for installation. The holes were a bit too close to each other. And it made it hard to take the bar out of the holder. Wish we drill the holes further apart. You may want to use the temple to mark the distant of the holes on the wall, try to push the bar into the hole marks. If the bar was squeeze too tight, then widen the distant between the holes. Don't just follow the temple and drill the holes.

We put this in our new bathroom. I was a bit nervous to install a paper holder, because my past experience with cheaper ones was poor. The mounting was easy, and makes the unit very sturdy. This was simple to install, and looks great. It's very sturdy also.

Were looking to do all brushed nickel in one of our bathrooms and we ordered this plus a few other items and everything looks great. It was easy to install if you don't actually use the template they provide, do it right and just measure everything out. I would also recommend better drywall anchors than what is provided. A really great thing about this toilet paper holder is the roller is made of metal instead of plastic, seems to be more durable. Great product for a great price.
