Everything arrived in one package and was well packed. Installed very easily (I am a semi-handy chick). It worked fine and no leaks. I did use plumbers tape for the shower arm mount. There seemed to be an extra washer (I confirmed there was one at each connection point) that I didn't use and don't have any leaks, so maybe it is meant to be extra?
OK, on to the real deal .. the shower experience. Of the three spray settings, I primarily use the middle one with wide spray distribution rain shower mode I guess. The massage is so-so, with marginally ok water pressure. My previous shower head was better but I could not find the same brand again. The strong, narrow spray is too narrow and too hard. Not pleasant for showering as it splatters everywhere and doesn't feel that nice. I really only use it for hosing down the shower for cleaning.
I bought this because my guest bath shower head was old and needed replacement. I went with the Hansgrohe to upgrade my shower head and put my old one in the guest room. I think I will switch them out and put this one in the guest room as it really isn't better even though it cost twice as much as my old one.
Yes, you will need to buy the hose and wall mount seperate. But so it goes, that way you get what you need, not an all-in-one package where all the components are sub-standard.
