Very impressed with this product. I got it 2 days after ordering it. As soon as I open it I was impressed with the quality and how well thought the product it. I has some fiber mesh between the rubber hose and metal casing. Also the are rubber gaskets at each end so there is no need to the rubber O rings during installation. Very nice.

Yes it is good quality stainless steel, not they typical chrome plated. Hard quality is good, provides a good secure fit (no leaks).

Impressed with the quality of this hose with SS casing and rubber gaskets at each end. The hose itself is easy to use as it is very "soft" in the sense that it bends easily unlike my previous plastic hose which was quite stiff. Like other reviewers have said, only disaapointment is the water flow is reduced, I estimate ~20%, compared to my previous due to the smaller diameter of this hose. Positive tradeoff is hot water lasting longer and smaller water bill. Overall good deal, great price from Amazon.
