These suction hooks work great if you install them sensibly. The key to making them secure is SURFACE PREPARATION. Take a cotton ball and fill it with nail polish remover (acetone.) Wipe the surface of the black rubber suction cup once and let it dry. Then, use the cotton ball to clean the area of bath tile where you will installing them until it come clean. You will be amazed how much invisible junk comes up think about it, you have spraying cleaner with "water sheeters" on the tile, haven't you? Well it may be shiny so you think its clean, but this buildup will prevent a secure seal.

Once the tile and rubber are dry (a few seconds) install and click several times. Then leave it alone for about half an hour while the rubber develops a surface memory. Then hang things on it. Since I did this, mine have not fallen down.

Useful for holding your toothbrush and toothpaste, gets clutter off of the bathroom counter. The suction cup slides on the back bar it is attached to, this can be a little annoying. Suction cup works great it holds on to mirror, yet is easy to remove for cleaning. Would recommend this to anyone who has limited bathroom counterspace.

It's garbage, don't buy it. I received the OXO Good Grips Strong Hold Suction Holder today, when I suctioned it to the shower wall, after about a minute it fell and broke. I'm so disappointed.

Purchased two of these to help tidy up the shower. Very easy to hang and stays in placejust don't forget to wet the suction cup first!

Update: I deducted a star because.... Unfortunately like every other suction cup shower item it fell randomly! I stand by my four stars, thoughbecause the design of this allows you to resecure the suction cup while it is still on the wall. So now that's what I do every couple of days to prevent another random failure.

This worked so well for keeping our shower razors up high and dry. It's fairly tiny, but it can hold 2 razors easily at the same time. I am actually buying a second one to hold our toothbrushes and a tube of toothpaste.
