KOHLER K-10590-CP Bancroft Single-Function Showerhead, Polished Chrome

This showerhead is made almost entirely out of plastic. You can read the description carefully, and it NEVER says the showerhead is made out of plastic. It only says the showerhead is "polished chrome." Maybe that's their name for the color of this plastic, but tell me, can you polish plastic? The dictionary definition of chrome is "a metal plated with chromium." This showerhead is neither. If you like a "gentle rain" you might like this showerhead, but I replaced a similar rain can style that had decent water pressure, and then we installed this and now it's so gentle and drippy that I have to scrub hard to get soap off. I'm hoping we can return this showerhead.

We love this shower head. We actually purchased 2 Kohler single function shower heads, one for each bathroom.

This one is very elegant looking and we like the looks better and it was cheaper than the other one. But they both work great. We took a reviewers advice and removed the wire mesh so we could get maxium spray. The spray is wonderful. Gets your whole body warm and now I am able to wash my thick hair in the shower verses the kitchen sink. The only bad thing is it feels soooo good, I don't want to get out.

I had an old Kohler shower in the home I bought and couldn't find a replacement part until I came across hhis showerhead o Amazon. The price was much less than Kohler and it was Prime. In some of the reviews it said the water output was inadequate, but I have not had the same experience. It is a great shower head and when I use this shower vs another one in our home my hair is much softer. Perhaps it has something to do with the amount of openings and the delivery of water. Anyway, I would definitely buy this head again. A great product and a lifesaver because I only had to screw it on the old pipe, no other parts were necessary.

You cannot go wrong with this shower head. Easy to install, great performance, solid, durable. My wife wanted one of the broad shower heads that deliver a lot of water. This does so, economically. Doesn't use any more water than a standard shower head, but it delivers. I'm going to replace the rest of the shower heads in the house with this one.

I am using this with a Danco (adjustable extension) arm! The water feels like a gentle rain. Not to heavy! I like the look of this one the best. I recommend installing this with zero angle to the shower floor!
