InterDesign Design Formbu Mat, Mocha, 48 Inch X 24 Inch

I've owned a number of bamboo rugs over the years and this one is mediocre. The finish is a little too shiny, and the non skid back is pretty ineffective.

UPDATE: The rug is just now starting to come apart (the binding is coming off). So it lasted almost exactly 1 year. This is in a very high traffic area in my house and it did get a fair amount of punishment. Some scuffing, but all in all not too bad in that regard given the pet traffic and dirt boots it sees daily.

This mat is flexible and thin with a "non-skid" backing that hasn't skidded yet. Water hangs on the surface, so not ideal for just stepping out of the shower, however. We'll keep it, but I wouldn't buy another one.

THIS MAT WAS A PERFECT ADDITION TO MY MODERN-THEMED BATHROOM DECOR. IT WAS PERFECT IN SIZE AND THE COLOR WAS EXCELLENT. IT MATCHED MY DARK CHERRY CABINETS TO THE "T." I WILL POST PICS AT A LATER DATE.ORDERED ON THE 17 OF AUGUST RECIEVED IT ON THE 22ND. I AM NOW LOOKING FOR A MATCHING TOILET SEAT COVER, AND THE MAT THAT IS CUT TO FIT AROUND THE TOILET.

I bought two of these, one for the sink area and one for the stove area. They clean up so much easier than rugs. They don't stain, just shake them out or sweep them off and they look good as new. No stains, no fuss.

The only reason I gave them just 4 stars is because they don't have a lot of varied sizes. I would like the option of bigger sizes.

I ordered this to use at my destination wedding. We're getting married with our toes in the sand and have a "shoes optional" sign that we'll have back where people will be entering the beach, and wanted an obvious place for people to place their shoes. This mat is perfect! It looks really nice, great quality. I would have expected to pay more!
