InterDesign Aria Toilet Tissue Reserve Canister, Clear

I don't know when or why, but suddenly a toilet paper holder became hard to find, and expensive. After searching local stores, I looked online. Amazon had a great selection. I wanted something that would "disappear" and not call attention to itself. This product was perfect. There were a few others that had a similar look, but were twice the price. This one, is made well, looks great, and the price (even with shipping) was right!

I wanted something simple and clean and that would keep extra rolls behind the toilet within reach but not necessarily in view, but if seen, would still be nice looking. This did the trick.

The container is a 'frosted' white color with a silver, stainless steel-like band at the bottom. The top is a flat lid with a silver, stainless steel-like rimmed hole that you slide your finger into in order to lift the lid.

I use Scott 1,000 sheet rolls and they fit in here with room to spare. It holds a total of three rolls which is more than enough for me.

P.S. For those with multiple chemcial sensitivies, there was no smell, odor, or off-gasing with this product.

The dimensions for the canister are way off for this product. Although it says it is 6.1 inches it is not. The important measurement is the internal dimension of the canister both at the top and bottom. The innocuous description which should warn you says the "tapered chrome base" but that doesn't really give it justice.

The real dimensions are: INSIDE at TOP of canister: 5 1/2"; INSIDE at BOTTOM of canister: 5"; that's a full 1/2" loss. If you use "Mega-Rolls" like I do, they stop fitting half-way down the canister. Thus, you can only fit 2 rolls in, not 3 and they are halfway up and that looks ridiculous.

BTW, it's difficult to get the roll in the middle out because it's stuck. The good news is that I bought it from Amazon. I am returning it and they are giving me a full refund and I don't have to ship it back. Now I have to figure out where to give it away or donate it. Because I really cannot use it.

The good side: It does look as good as the picture. It arrived quickly and packaged well. The labels on the side came off cleanly so it looks good.

Living in a NYC apartment with cats, I was hoping to keep vermin and cat claws off the TP while having some within arms reach. The product still looks like it will do the job. Just wish it would hold the TP size we use.

I hate leaving tissue in the open when it is not being used. This not only takes up very little room, but it is handy, keeps the tissue clean and you can see what is on hand at all times. I have actually gotten complements on this and was asked where I bought it.

This canister is wide enough to hold regular or super-sized rolls, and it's short enough that it doesn't interfere with the toilet's flush handle in a tight space. Also, the little finger-grip hole in the center of the lid makes opening the canister simple. GREAT design!!!!
