This is probably the best value amongst the large diameter rainfall showerheads and I recommend it.

Good: High quality material, tightens easily, holds solidly in place, easily adjustable.

Wish were better: Even with the flow restricter removed, the rainfall comes out at a medium water pressure. This may be by design since it is very relaxing and definitely enough to rinse without difficulty. I think this is probably common though same amount of water coming out but now spread out over a 6" wide faucet with many more holes than a small 2" standard shower nozzle that has to lower pressure right?

Comparison: My last showerhead was the "Interbath All Directional Chrome Showerhead" which is only about 3-4" diameter, but otherwise is nearly identical. Basicly it has been a direct tradeoff, the smaller head had higher water pressure, this new head is a wider surface area. I like both. If you are a sucker for high pressure, but want a rainfall showerhead, I recommend you instead go with the very high quality at a very low price Interbath version.

After buying this item I saw the same thing in a hardware store for less than half the price. The quality is good but the downpour is just ok. You can definitely find something better for a much better price. Danze products are definitely overpriced and you will definitely find cheaper and better.

I bought this shower head to replace an older (cheaper) rain shower knockoff. The old one sprayed water out every which way no matter what I did to clean out the holes. The water flows from this one evenly and gently making for a wonderful shower experience. It was easy to install in a few minutes. I highly recommend this shower head as a replacement.

This is like a light warm rain. If you currently have a small shower head, and have decent pressure, this will reduce your pressure. Which may or may not be a big deal to you. It is easier to keep your entire body wet, which is good in the winter if you have a cold house but warm water.

It's solid brass with quality chrome plating. It is easily adjustable, and the position can be fixed by tightening the levers. It is very simple, there are basically no moving mechanics inside the head to fail.

My water pressure is on the low side because my water heater is level with my shower.
