The product appeared as described but it was impossible to unscrew the allen screw so that the bar would pivot. It was packaged with the allen screw fully screwed closed and we could not get it to move. We had to put so much force on it we stripped it. We exchanged and had a similiar problem but were eventual able to get it. We like it but the company should not package it with the screw fully closed.

The photo above is different for the one we ordered/have. We did get the correct one we ordered which you just slip on TP roll -very easy. High quality and looks great. Also purchased matching towel bar.

Solid brass sets this apart from other brands. There is no zinc. If the finish scratches or stains, there is more brass underneath so you don't see nicks and stains/oxidation can be polished off. Even the roll-holder is solid brass.

I use this style in rentals because they can stand serious abuse. True commercial grade.

I didn't have trouble with the mounting. The mounting hardware is also solid.
