MollaSpace Paper Pot Toilet Paper and Tissue Paper Holder, Matte Black

I have two MollaSpace Paper Pots that I purchased directly from Amazon that are beautiful, clever, and extremely high quality. It's obvious when you see them why it's an award winning design.

HOWEVER, I recently received a third "Paper Pot" that I purchased through Amazon from Envision Enterprises because Amazon was out of stock. It is a cheap, made in China knock-off (the real ones are made in Japan) and of extremely poor quality. It's such a surprise that Envision would attempt to pass this off as the real thing. I'm returning it immediately.

Title pretty much says it. The plastic inside is so jagged and scraped, the roller mechanism looks like it is PVC plumbing pipe broken across someone's knee, not a machined cut of plastic. There is a huge chip in the lip around the one I received, which makes it difficult to snap together and apart. FALSE ADVERTISING, AMAZON-this is NOT the Japanese MollaSpace, it says "Made in China" on the box. And the black is NOT matte, as pictured. Also, FYI, it doesn't fit a full size horizontal box of Kleenex brand tissue (I removed about 1/3 of the tissues in order to get the container to fit/feed them correctly), but it might fit the lot of the small, vertical box since I think there are fewer in there.

The product I received from LilGift is a poorly made knock off of the original made in Japan item. The pieces do not fit together well and are poorly finished. Beware.

I ordered an original Ai Collection Molla Tissues holder per the description. This was an utterly cheap and horrible fake copy. bad plastic, bad quality. not even worth $2. I have two original Ai Collection Molla's and they are beautiful and well made.

I just received, and returned on the same day, one of these Molla Paper Pots in black. The quality resembles that of a hard plastic Easter egg. The two halves were even warped into different shapes just like a cheap plastic egg. The inside rod was cracked with pieces chipped off. In a word. . . . .JUNK!!!
