Made for a solid installation, with good workmanship. The instructions were very clear and parts for attaching to various wall types were included and worked well.

Reviews on this item run hot and cold, but the design is the same for everyone. Kohler is generally a good name so I ordered it anyway. When it arrived I was not expecting what I found in the box, but then I thought about the reviews and it became clear what was going on. The ends of the tube are pressed into the elbows and it's a very tight interference fit. The ends are also held together with screw fasteners which are blind from the outside when properly assembled. The bottom line is that it can be partially fit together and/or have some loose fasteners, which, if you don't understand the construction, might cause those that aren't mechanically inclined to send it back for quality/design problems. That said, firmly yank, twist and pull at various elements and it will soon become apparent how this thing is designed and meant to be put together. If you get it right and mount it properly, it's a fine rack. There shouldn't be anything loose and no gaps to get towels caught it. If these issues exist, disassemble fully, reassemble properly and remount.
