Designer Series Deluxe Bath Bench With Back

I ordered this shower seat as a "travel" one. It's nice to be able to shower when you go and visit with friends and family. I never opened it until I got to my brothers. I thought it would do him or the boys good to have to screw it together for me. To my surprise, it snapped together. It went together easily. It has a back on it. It's nicer than the one I paid almost $50 for locally. It's well made. It's a shower chair. Kind of hard to rave about one of them. I got it in a very timely manner. I really did expect q little semi nice shower chair. I am still amazed it's as nice as it is.

Very pleased with DRIVE medical bath bench. Easy to put together. Like that you don't need to have back of seat on so can be used to straddle. Wide enough and sturdy enough to support heavier and larger people. height is adjustable to fit over side of tub. Would recommend and have bought other DRIVE products.

When this stool comes, the legs seem rather wobbly and are bent way too far out causing them to want to start bending once you sit down on it in the tub. I took it apart, re-bent the legs a bit put the legs in their lowest setting (which brings them back in, even farther!) then put it all back together tightened everything properly and now it works much better and seems more stable! The seat and back are fine just as they come and the slight curve in the seat, makes my wife feel more secure when bathing. (her previous shower seat had a totally flat seat on it which can cause you to slide around when wet)

However, with all the other fine products that Drive Medical makes I think they need to re-design this one a bit to bring it up to their usual standard of quality.

Excellent stool. Easy to assemble and sturdy in use. I have set the back aside for now, may want it in the future. Love the color. I dislike the "medical" look of the white stools.
