I've installed two crescent shaped rods previously. I came back to this same brand because of the quality of construction and the arc of the rod is more pronounced than other models; many of which are available at the local home improvement stores. The larger arc makes it feel even bigger than in the shower when compared to other competing models and brands. This was a repeat purchase for me.

This is by far the best curved shower rod on the market. Many look the same, but when you actually look at it, and most importantly, try to install it that is when it makes a difference. This particular rod has very extended curve it is approximately 9" out (in the center) from the edge of the bathtub (if installed above the end-edges of the standard bathtub) this gives you a lot of elbow room in the shower. The most important part o this particular shower rod are the ends that attach to the wall and ultimately, hold the rod in place. They are solid metal (not plastic) and the rod is held in place from top and bottom which is not the case with many other rod connectors. I have installed this type of rods in at least three bathrooms and YEARS later, they are still holding up fine and do not show any sign of rust or weakness in connections.

I was concerned about this kit's ability to be firmly mounted. After completing the installation, I am no longer concerned! Very pleased with the product (curved shower curtain rod), too, in addition to its mounting. I refrained from FIVE stars because I was dissatisfied with the instructions. The instruction sheet had more sales info for their other products than they did actual instructions, relying, instead on very low resolution, low contrast photographs. Had they been clearly illustrated, installation time would have been cut in half!

The curved rod fits our shower stall perfectly. Didn't need to use the clips. The shower rod does allow more elbow room, which is nice.

I pre-measured before ordering and knew what I was getting. The non-adjustable rod is definitely the way to go if it fits your shower. There's no catching of the hangers on the gap where the adjustable rods come together. The 9" expansion is the largest I've found in the curved shower rods and provides ample space in the shower. I didn't have reason to use the Wingits wall anchors, but I've saved them in case I have a non-tiled wall where I can use them. My only criticism would be that there was no resilient gasket included. I picked up some gasket material at the local hardware store and took care of that. All in all, very pleased with my purchase.
