This was ordered for two reasons: First it is polished brass which fits the decor of my new bathroom and second, because it makes using the paper easier for my husband who has a bad back. It is strong, does not tilt over, accommodates a number of magazines, newspapers and books (if that's your thing in the bathroom) and looks great. At the price Amazon was selling it for, it was a steal. It came already put together and the packaging kept it from scratching. A great product at a great price.
