You get what you pay for. It is made of very light plastic but looks good and would recommend. I put this in the master bath so my children won't be using it thankfully.
This is a hefty, handsome product that looks much more expensive than it is. I paid six times as much for a similar looking "designer" product and frankly, this one looks as nice. Sure, the roller is plastic instead of steel but who'd notice or care? I bought the matching towel rack as well.
