Pros:
Secure
Relatively easy to mount
Ample depth
Appealing contemporary design aesthetics
Cons:
Side mirror panels open out!!!!!!
Have to directly touch the glass to open it which smudges the mirror (as opposed to having a little metal area to pop the panel open from)
I received incorrect mirror panel mounts
-Detailed Description --
Generally when purchasing a medicine cabinet like this the intent (besides having additional storage)is to have side mirrors open in so you have see the sides/back of your head with ease. For some reason the designers of this medicine cabinet felt that was unnecessary. I was very disappointed to find this out, and am now toying with the idea of modifying the cabinet myself to achieve this functionality. It shouldn't be too hard to do that but I wish I didn't have to. Also when the cabinet came it was packaged with in incorrect amount of mounting brackets so one of the mirror panels had the ugly side of the bracket showing. Not a huge deal but it hints at the possible lack of quality control on the manufacturers end. One last gripe is that you have to physically touch the glass on the mirror to open the panel, as compared to other designs that have a small metal flange to avoid smudging the mirror glass. Despite these short comings it was relatively easy to mount, is very secure and provides an ample amount of depth to store all your medicine, hygiene, and beauty products. These redeeming qualities kept me from rating it a 2, but I was close. It looks good, it's made of quality materials, it does the job and was easy to assemble. It looks good, too.not too hard to put together and it looks nice in the bathroom. I would recommend buying one to a friend.
