If you're using this as a cup, it will work fine. But it is a very basic tumbler. I wanted to use this as a toothbrush holder, but it is such a lightweight plastic that it tips over when i put the toothbruses/toothpaste in there. Wish it was a little heavier.

I have a pedestal sink in a very tiny bathroom. Everything needs to be compact and functional. It is also attractive and, since it is melamine, it is light and I don't have to worry about it crashing into a million pieces if it falls off the sink.

This is a good, sturdy tumbler which I use in the bathroom. The avant garde shape takes a little getting used to, but it works and is a good value.

I got both the Umbra melamine tumbler and soap dish. Both have a clean modern look and are used on my bathroom vanity. I like the change from everyday shapes.

I did not want to buy breakable objects and I wanted things that were easily washable. I also was happy to find a tumbler and soap dish in dark brown not a lot of them around I think.

I wish the soap dish had some ridges in it so that a wet soap would dry out. I guess you could look to buy an insert separately.
