Moen DN6786ORB Danbury Towel Ring, Oil Rubbed Bronze

I purchased several Moen fixtures for a new bathroom: towel bars, hooks, towel ring, etc. all in the oil rubbed bronze finish to match other fixtures. These are the first Moen towel bars and related items I have purchased and installed. Previous experience with other name brands has left me skeptical about the mounting design and ease of instllation... but these Moen products were a very pleasant surprise!

As most bathroom hardware does these days, Moen incorporates small set screws in their design but in a much better way than others I have installed. The set screw is easy to set and adjust, and holds once set! Unlike others, these fixtures are not loose or wobbly after installation. Additionally, the wall mount hardware is made very well much better than others. Very sturdy and well designed it is made so that you only have one correct way to mount it, and the portion of the wall mount that holds the visible fixture is very sturdy and remains square!

I prefer a partially open ring design, but Moen did not offer that in this finish. I purchased anyway, and am happy with the product, so I can't fault them for that as it's a matter of preference.

This is a nice looking towel ring, but it isn't really oil rubbed bronze! All the other items I have that are oil rubbed bronze are brown with a copper color showing through, this towel ring was just solid dark brown, and it didn't match the oil rubbed bronze toilet lever I bought from amazon either. So if you are looking to match other items that are "oil rubbed bronze", you won't be happy with this, I had to return it because it clashed with the faucet I had.

This towel ring is great for hanging towels in a convenient location and it looks great! It is very sturdy, and it seems as though the finish is going to hold up really well. I have had no issues with it whatsoever-highly recommended!
