This item was very large and awkward looking on the toilet. Plus make sure the side you want to put it on doesn't have the handle on it. We returned this item for a floor standing toilet paper holder.

I purchased this and one in chrome. It is nice and practical It frees up cabinet space and makes the TP easily available to refill the holder. I holds the oversize rolls and is really nice for the price. It looks a little funny hanging off of the toilet, but practical won out over looks. I am going to buy another when our other bathroom is redone.

We wanted something off the floor and obvious for guests (who never looked in the basket kept on the tank). This fit the bill and I really like that it easily fits the large oversized rolls. It is a bit big for those of you with a tight space. And check your toilet first it needs to hang off the side, make sure you don't have your handle on the side where you want to hang it. The color is basically black matte metal. It doesn't seem to have any effect on the tank top fitting in place (standard porcelain tank toilet).
