This unit arrived with a two-page pamphlet for instructions. The battery is loosely held in the battery compartment, and the unit cannot convert to pounds (there is a "Unit" button on the bottom but, after pressing this button and it displaying "lbs" in the display it reverts back to kg for weight). 9 times out of 10 the unit shuts off without displaying a weight. Avoid this unit.

I purchased this scale and found it easy to use...for the first 24 hours. After that, it read the weights all wrong and maxed out to ERR every time anyone stepped on it. Avoid this unit.

This scale does not weigh in pounds!!! You can convert to pounds in an extra step, but feel this fact should have been advervetised before purchase

This is NOT the most accurate scale...it's cheap, cheaply built...but I kept it b/c it pretty much does the job, and sending it back would have cost more than I paid for it. I wish I had got a Connair Thinner.

Is this the corect way to update an old review? Well, I guess it is now, at least for my sake. I could not stand this scale's inaccuracy. It remained true that shipping it back was not worth it. So, I just gave it away and then bought a Connair scale. It cost just about as much as this one and it is so much better.

Why only 1 star? Well I paid for it and even without obtaining a refund I was still so unwilling to use the product I gave it away for nothing and then paid for another scale. Only hate can justify this.

I still have the Connair scale I bought and I enjoy it daily. It was very affordable. This one here lasted with me for about a week or less. The Connair is definitely a superior product. And there are many Connair scales you will find available. Based on experience with many scales you will not go wrong with a Connair, no matter what the model or price. The one I use is the cheapest bottom-of-the-line; the more you pay give you even better ones!! Keep weighing (??)
