I think that perhaps we were not the first people to purchase this. The packaging was torn and the parts were loose inside. The loose parts scratched the nice satin finish on the brackets.

Terrible prices in the American Standard Town Square Collection, but this suite of accessories really classed up a bathroom remodel. Heavy and good quality.

The quality of this product is great. However, the color is much closer to bronze (or even a dark brushed nickel) than black.
