Holder looks nice but it fits too close to the wall. The TP roll barely fits and rubs until the roll is parially used up.

Looks good, machined well, smooth. Mounts fine. I mounted mine vertically due to space concerns, but the flat part at the end looks like it will hold the roll just fine horizontally, unless you really rip at it.

I'd have given this five stars if not for what other reviews already mention: when the t.p. is mounted, it rubs the wall. Don't know how the manufacturer missed this important fact. Now I'm wondering: do I let it go and see if the paint starts rubbing off the wall after months of t.p. friction or do I trek to the craft store & get a small piece (oval) of wood, paint it and mount it behind the holder? I would not be happy about the extra work & expense. Other than that, the look of this holder is great; simple and no tricky (hidden) screws that are on many other t.p. holders. Two medium screws, right on top, easy to reach--yea!!!! No wall bracket to mount, no fussing with teeny screws or two part setup.
