It is my fault. I bought two of these Hansgrohe hand showers based upon my past experience with Hansgrohe devices. When they arrived, I was surprised that they did not come with hoses or shower connectors. I had to buy them after the fact ... at substantial additional cost. As a result, the cost was much higher than comparable items that I could have chosen. As far as the product, it is handsome and functional, so I have no complaint about that. The additional cost of the hose and connector, however, was not something that I had bargained for.

After looking around a long time, I finally found the shower that suits me. I like a shower that feels like it has a lot of water and has a wide area of coverage. I don't like pin needles of water jets striking me at a thousand miles an hour! This shower is gentle, and has a lot of volume. It feels like a warm waterfall when you are under it. There are three settings, the normal wide shower setting, and the other two work good as well. There are no leaks. It feels quality, has a very nice chrome finish, and is not too heavy to maneuver at all. You'll notice that the shower handle is pretty much straight, so you'll need to get a wall mount that points it down. There are several I looked at and decided on the Chrome Handheld Showerhead Wall Bracket by Huntington Brass here on Amazon. Really, its the best hand held shower head I have used; It's totally hotel quality and an awesome upgrade for any home or apartment.

I just purchased another one because I moved from my Rental to a house that I purchased and left the original one. Again, this is the best shower head on earth!

The shower head is lovely easy to use and good pressure. Only complaint is that it doesn't come with any hardware, so mine has an unattractive white hose from my old shower head on it for now.

I have two upstairs showers and chose the Hansgrohe C 100 based on the previous reviews. It lacked the feel of a little extra water pressure and other than the standard shower setting the other two settings are useless. Does not provide a focused stream and overall performs poorly compared to my old (much cheaper) hand shower. Pretty, but definitely not worth the price!
