Pfister BRB-YP0K Ashfield Towel Hook, Brushed Nickel

I've been happy with the other Price Pfister products I bought when I renovated my house, but stay away from the towel hooks! After a month or so of regular use, the poorly designed connection between the hook and the part that sticks out of the wall loosens and comes apart. You have to put it back together with a teeny-tiny screwdriver (don't lose the teeny tiny headless screw!), and you've got this chore to look forward to again in another month.

I love this towel hook and all of the Pfister Tuscan Bronze collections. I have faucets in two styles. Unfortunately my faucet collection did not have a matching towel ring/hook, so I purchased this one to use in my laundry room. Because the finish matches you don't really notice that the styles do not belong together(though they obviously do not match...) If it were in a more prominent location I would not mix the collections.

I marked stars off because the hook unscrews itself from the base over time with use. This has happened 2-3 times. It is always a surprise to have the hook fall off onto the floor when you go to hang up a towel. My husband is a general contractor, so I know the installation was done correctly. So from my viewpoint, this issue is a design flaw. I have Kohler towel rings that are in constant use and have never had any issues like this with them.

If you choose to purchase this towel hook, just know upfront that you might be reattaching it periodically. Regardless of the problem however, this is still a lovely and stylish addition to your room and decor.

I don't know if it is just the way this is made or if I just got a bad product but this lasted about 6 months in my guest bathroom. The part where the hanger attaches to the base stripped out and it barely hangs on. I am able to poke it back in but I must do that every time someone uses the hand towel. Very disappointed because it matches the rest of the bathroom hardware. Afraid to purchase a replacement for fear it won't last long either. The toilet paper holder was the same way. :(

This was purchased to complete a power room using the Ashfield vessel bathroom faucet. Perfect match. Love it! Would definitely recommend and would definitely purchase again!

Ordered 3 of these, installed all In 2 remodeled bathrooms. 1st one fell apart within 2 months, managed to put it back together, fell apart again 3 months (towel hook falls out). 2nd one did the same last week.

They look good, are heavy, but poorly designed. Contacting company customer service tomorrow.
