Kohler K-11056-CP Archer Vertical Toilet Tissue Holder, Polished Chrome

For a remodeling job I ordered three of these vertical toilet paper holders and had to return them. Nowhere in the description do they tell you how thick the vertical piece is, nor does the photo show this clearly. The center piece is so large that it will not work with some rolls of toilet paper. It is also ungainly looking--much too bulky. I have used vertical paper holders before--they are great for a small space and it's easy to put on a new roll--but never have I seen such a fat "spike." I don't think this style is offered by Kohler any more.

In remodeling my bathroom, the perfect space for the TP holder was a small area. My designer suggested a vertical toilet paper holder and I looked on Amazon and chose this one. It's great! The TP unwinds with complete ease and fits perfectly in a small area. I'm a fan now of vertical TP holders!

I mounted this paper holder at a 45 degree angle and it looks great and works very well, this is solid and has a really good chrome finish, should last forever.

This is in our guest bathroom, so we've gotten lots of compliments and inquiries as to where they could buy one.

I was recently in Paris and the WC had a vertical TP holder. Can you fall in love with a toilet paper holder? I did. Of course everything in Paris is fabulous... When I returned, I vowed to find one of these. I surprisingly found it here on amazon. It's made of good, heavy chrome. It was easy to install and looks great. The design is called "archer". I've now ordered the matching towel bar.

This holder looks great and works well in tight areas. Just be aware that because of the form factor it is easy for young ones to use this for support and leverage. Since there is only a single point of connection to the wall it is easily pulled off unless attached to more than drywall anchors.

I would say that you should only buy this if one of the following are true:

Young children will never use the bathroom where this is installed

You are planning on attaching this to a stud, not drywall anchors

There are cheaper and more effective alternatives for bathrooms with tight spaces. Search amazon for recessed toilet paper holder.
