This is a quality, thick heavy construction that is made to last. I am replacing this drain because the existing one was thin cheap pot metal material that failed in 10 years. All I found at the local big improvement stores was the same cheap garbage, so I hunted this unit down.

This Kingston Brass unit is much thicker and heavier; it is quality construction and material. It has a 10-year warranty which I didn't save the paperwork for because I am certain this will last triple that. The 16.44 I paid was nearly the same price of the junk at the local stores. I have bought multiple home improvement products on Amazon due to the low quality available at the local improvement stores. I am tired of replacing things that I used to not have to give a thought to due to these big retailers finding cheap junk to sell us at the price of the good stuff.
