Great, simple design. It hangs easily on the side of the tank, does not rattle or interfere with any fittings or tank cover, and conveniently keeps a couple of rolls within reach.

The hooked end does not hang low enough inside to actually be immersed in the tank water, however it probably does get a slight spray with every flush and fill. I had another similarly styled product in chrome which rusted because of this moisture.

I purchased this one because the description says it's stainless steel which means it should not rust. I can't find markings on it to attest to the stainless material, but it does feel heavier and more sturdy than the chrome one I had previously.

As a precaution, right out of packaging and before hooking onto tank, we dipped just the hook into plastic dip (the type sold in hardware stores to coat tool handles) to coat and hopefully keep it dry enough to remain rust free.

We happened to have a can of plastic dip so that's what we used, but I suppose even wrapping with duct tape or a small piece of plastic would do too. Since it won't be visible on the outside, theoretically anything that will keep that hooked end dry should work.

I wish I would have found this years ago! This is so handy and convenient. The toilet is close to the wall, so have placed it this on that side of the tank. Barely noticeable, the tank lid still closes nicely. I had one of those steel colored holders sitting on the floor. The floor is now bare except for the wastebasket, making the bathroom easier to clean!

For what it is, it looks sleek and modern rather than utilitarian. Not a fan of the appearance when it's not full so I always refill it. Sort of defeats the purpose, but at least no one is held hostage on the toilet for lack of paper.

I didn't know what i wanted for my new bathroom makeover, except that I didn't want it to be on the floor. My choice has turned out to be just what I wanted and I do like it a lot. It is up out of the way, out of the spotlight, as it sits on the wall side of the stool, right close to the toilet tissue wall holder, and it matches all the other metal faucets in the bathroom. Great choice.
