The top of the mat was fine. However, underneath, wood putty had been slapped on one of the slats and was pushed down between the slats. This required about 5 minutes with sandpaper to fix. Also the polystyrene packing sheet was stuck to the bottom of the rubber feet. So far with a brush and water I have not been able to remove this.
Neither one is visible in use, and the product over all is what I expected.
I can't say enough good things about this product! no more wet rugs and it looks great in my bath! only wish the shower was large enough to accomodate the shower bench/stool! I recommend this product without reservation!

I have bought this product under two months and I am very happy with this Teak Shower Mat from Teak Station. I even got a call to make sure I was happy with the product. This teak wood dries fast over night in the shower if you have the window open slightly. I don't think I will have any problems with mildew. The product is as good as what other reviewers said. I also love the smell of the teak wood. The mat is well made. It's well worth the cost.

Love the teak mat because now I don't have to have a soggy rug when I get out of the shower. If you're too wet when you get out, like my kids are, it will make a water spot on the floor. But it wipes up. Overall I am glad I purchased it.

Love this bath mat. I use it outside the shower on tile flooring. It is not slippery and very little water goes through to the floor. It was the perfect solution to having to buy bath mats constantly when the backing would fall apart. I am thinking about purchasing a couple more of these for other bathrooms!
