Gatco 5843 24-Inch Marina Double Towel Bar, Satin Nickel

The actual color of the towel bar is "pewter" not brushed satin. It is much darker then the picture. The construction is sturdy, but I gave it 2 stars because of the color discrepancy

I purchased Gatco Marina fixtures this towel bar, an 18" single bar, toilet tissue holder, and robe hook. The color in Amazon's image may be a little light but they all match other (Kohler, KwikSet,etc.) Satin Nickle items that went into the same bathroom. The Gatco bases are all heavy brass under the finish. If I can find any fault it is that the bars themselves are a bit thin (they are all metal other than the toilet tissue holder bar which is plastic).

Installation is easy and the towel bars have templates printed on the box just hold the back panel of the box against the wall, level it, and drill pilot holes through the dots on the box. The lengths mean that you'll never be able to attach them to two studs but the included wall anchors are sufficient to hold them in sheet rock (unless you have small children).

In my opinion the Gatco products are much higher quality than Kohler and are much less expensive. Before you buy, do an internet search for the stock numbers you may find them for less on other sites (I did) although Amazon's prices are constantly fluctuating.
