The sewing is finished, no hanging threads or pulls in the weave. The dye is dark and even (I bought them in black). They are thick enough for my taste, give me something to step on, will absorb normal bath/shower drips, and are cerainly not threadbare.They are not super-high-end, ultra plush, but good, everyday bath mats. One edge on one mat was not-quite straight (crooked line) on the finished seam, but not open or fraying. They look like they will wash and dry well and stand up to at least a couple years of constant use.
I would/will buy more of these. It's a good value at 3 for $24.44. These are normal, cotton bath mats. I am happy to have them.
I took a chance on these, despite one bad review. The picture and description are very similar to other mats selling for more, and I suspected they might be the same product/the other reviewer may have had an atypical experience. Amazon's great return policy gave me confidence that I could send them back if they were deficient. I am glad I tried these.
