I purchased this towel holder to go with the other accessories, all matching & made by this same company. It also has the same horrible fastener; a metal plate attaches to the wall with screws & anchors & the porcelain holder slides down over the plate. It doesn't hold tightly, so I had to glue it. Also, the clear towel holder fits into the porcelain rather oddly; it doesn't lay down against the wall, but sticks up on one side more than the other, even with a towel on it.
This was a disappointing purchase. I would not buy it if I had known. I would not recommend it to anyone. Pay a little more & get nicer looking, more serviceable accessories for your bathroom.
As others wrote in there reviews the ring is clear not white as it appears in the picture. The picture should be updated to better represent the towel ring.
