When ordering the Decolav 1430 Bathroom Sink, a suggested part for the sink was this umbrella drain. THIS PART DOES NOT FIT THE 1430 AT ALL. Don't get fooled into buying this if you don't need it. Remember, when ordering sinks with standard openings, you can always get the hardware at a local store.I bought two Decolav sinks months ago for installation in the house I'm building. My plumber installed the drains, but they just didn't seat well in the Decolav sinks for with they were recommended. On one he managed to stop the leak with silicone caulk; the other he had to replace with a traditional drain. I now have a very large, very expensive paperweight.

A very good and durable product if you are wanting a push button closing drain. A wee bit pricey, but less expensive on Amazon than in a store. While I love my Decolav sinks -very easy cleanup -I thought this drain would be fantastic. However, once installed they drain so slow it is crazy. Basically I have my beautiful sink and have taken the drain top part off and use no drain, the drain just lays in the sink. If anyone has an ideas how to improve this situation, please write a review and give advice.Want Decolav 9297-SN Push Button Closing Umbrella Drain with Overflow, Satin Nickel Discount?
Very nice looking pop-up drain! Good looking & quality. Used with a Delacora 1432 sink... both items are chunky and look great together. This drain has a large cover and sits above the sink with the water flow under, covers the sink hole completely, more than another I have in different sink... I like that. Fits nice and plumber had no problems with install.
