Great little tins, with a nice suprise in them. A A A A A A A A A A A

I think these are just beautiful tins, but the lid was dented in three places right out of the box. Furthermore, they stack as four, and while 2 of the tins open and close easily, the other two stick and jam terribly and have to be prised off. This is not how I want to be getting at my tea bags (which was how I intended to use these). I tried all sorts of different orders in case the tins like to be stacked in one order rather than another, but in all the combinations the same two stupid tins stick.

I called Amazon for a partial refund as soon as I saw the dings in the lid, because I didn't want to waste resources shipping these back, and they offered me a $10 refund (after I said $5 was not enough).

But now that I've also tried opened and closing them and see how much they stick, I think maybe I should have just returned them after all because I'll be practically using a crow-bar on two of them.

I also bought the big, rectangle tin box from this same design/series and that was neither dented or with a jamming lid. I also had plans to buy the round stacking tins in the multicolor design as well, and now I'm definitely not going to try my luck on those. I wouldn't suggest these unless you're looking for some free tennis elbow exercise while getting your morning tea ready.
