I expected an average quality, decently printed curtain. I got so much more. The colors are vibrant. The detail doesn't miss a stroke. The curtain is strong quality, well made. I love this curtain. It comes with four (two per side) sets of the tiny side suction cups and they still pretty well to the sides of the shower/tub. I highly recommend this curtain. It's absolutely gorgeous and well worth a close look!

I like it a lot. I opened it outside and left it exposed to the air for 3 weeks because of the new vinyl smell.

I wasn't sure if it contained polyvinyl chloride, or PVC.

Shower curtains can contain the chemical additive DEHP, a phthalate that is a suspected carcinogen and has been linked to hormonal disruption in humans.

The new wave is to make shower curtains from PEVA, a non-chlorinated vinyl for safety.

This shower curtain is wonderful! The colors are bright, and it's a heavy curtain, but very "soft" and pliable---not like most shower curtains.

This is a beautiful curtain for sure. The colors on it are vivid, and I love the mix of the surface/underwater look. It's thick enough for what you pay and hangs nicely. The big problem with it is, as another reviewer here has already noted, is that it comes with no reinforced hanger holes at all. Just regular cheap cut outs that tear in no time. In fact the first time someone stepped on the bottom of it here, it tore and and is now patched. I fully realize that for what they are asking for this it looks really nice. But the cheap unreinforced holes are a major miss, that as far as I am concerned, makes this curtain one I cannot recommend. Especially if you have kids. When I opened the box the smell was so strong I couldnt keep it in my place but had to take it outside and leave it on my balcony. Its 2 days later and the chemical smell is still strong so I probably wont use it at all. Now Im looking for a pvc free shower curtain. I didnt know anything about that but now I know when you order online you must be on the look out for strong smells in th products you buy. Now Ive done my research and know that you have to look for pvc free or sommething called peva to avoid those smells which may be toxic. I guess if you buy from a store they air the products out first because I dont remember ever having that problem until I started ordering online. Im really disappointed because I dont like shopping in stores but I guess I will have to. Its pretty but looks cheap.
