the ends were waaay too big to fit the holes in the holder part. So, of no use for me. It's cheap plastic and shiny, but I'm sure it does the trick if it fits... The holes I was trying to fit were .5" and this wasn't close to fitting

Item does not fit a standard toilet paper holder. Ends are very wide. Amazon should elaborate the description & state it is not the standard size. Would love a refund but there is no option to even contact Amazon.

It does what is should, it could be built a little better perhaps out of metal, and slightly better constructed, but honestly it does not matter. The color matches my existing holder perfectly, and it does not split in two like my last one so i am pleased.

A basic item like a toilet paper holder should be one size fits all. Turns out that's not the case!

The plugs on this piece are way too wide for the holder area built in to my bathroom wall. They don't even come near to fitting, so this item is totally useless.

Beyond that issue, this item is not actually chrome, it's just plastic with a chrome like coating.

I'd recommend getting one that is actually metal and checking the diameter of the plug holes in your wall or a holder before buying one of these.
