I chose this replacement over the franklin brass sold on amazon because I went with the brand name. What a disappointment. I had to open up the hole in the shower to accept the larger soapdish which is ok, but to do all the work I had to do, only to have the dish last a month is just sad. The tab that holds the plastic dish cracked while I placed the soap in the tray, this is very poorly made and I would not recommend this to anyone, not worth the effort. I tried to give zero stars, but amazon wont allow it.
It says CHROME but it doesn't even come close to matching any other chrome in a typical shower.
This chrome looks like a cheap version of brushed nickel.
MAKE SURE TO COMPARE THE FINISH OF THIS DISH WITH YOUR SHOWER HEAD or MAIN FILLER SPOUT....
and be prepared to return it due to it not matching, not even close !!!
This is the same as the cheap garbage you get at Menards or Walmart.
Comes with (1) set of chrome wood screws that match the soap dish finish.
If you have to use the bracket and the long machine screws.... STOP !! The machine
screws don't match the finish. They are same as used on electrical boxes.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!

This item arrived broken from the factory and had to be replaced. It appears that the plastic soap insert was too tight to fit on the metal rivets designed to hold it on and the metal rivets had broke! I bought a Moen chrome soap holder just the month before in September. I was so pleased, I bought another one (also listed on Amazon as Moen Commercial Chrome Soap Holder and looked the same in the picture), however this one was smaller, very cheap and sleazy and not something I would ever use.Once I double checked, I saw that the numbers were different even though Amazon listed them by the same name and same description.
The faulty one was this one, the better one was DH5065 CSI.
Be VERY careful when ordering any merchandise besides books from Amazon as I have had 3 very poor experiences now where items have not turned out to be as advertised!

this moen 2565ch commercial soap hoder chome .use good .i only dont like make in chinaI figured I'd put it out here. It seems to be decent quality. If you're buying this as a replacement part, measure before you order. These types of soap dishes aren't all the same size.
