InterDesign Suction Corner Basket, Stainless Steel

Put these into the "rounded" corners of my daughters college apartment tub/shower. A cheap fiberglass "all in one". Now I had scrubbed the hell out of the all in one because I'm a clean freak. First with a 'non scratch' cleanser then with Soap Scum Remover spray, then with a little bleach and water. So the corners were absolutely squeaky clean. No soap scum or grime or any oily cream rinse/shampoo residue.

While not all of the suction cups would reach all sides of the corners on the tub, which has very wide 'curves' in the corners..the two on each one that did reach...STUCK LIKE CEMENT! The cups are a soft pliable plastic. Not that hard unyielding kind that once it gets a 'kink' or curve on the outer lip, it won't stick to the tub because it keeps popping up.

My daughter uses those super large, very heavy bottles of "Wen" shampoo. I got 3 of them and a couple of the smaller Wen bottles into one basket, and at least 5 or 6 (if I remember correctly) of those Bath & Body Works body washes into the other.

These baskets are holding a TON of weight on just TWO suction cups on each basket. They don't even tilt downwards like others do when they are overloaded with weight. I even tried to 'slide' the suction cups down to adjust the baskets lower. Couldn't do it! I had to remove each item from the baskets, slide my fingernail under the cups to break the grip, and THEN re-position the basket. These baby's aren't going anywhere!

Will update if there's any problem with rust in the future, though they are supposed to be 'stainless'.

They are super shiny, cleanly finished, no sharp points, the welds look good...happy so far.

the suction cups on this product lose their shape and suction after some time, which makes the basket fall off the shower wall. This lasted a few months, but now I'm searching for replacements.

I've only had this for a few days but so far am very pleased. I like the no-rust guarantee. The key with items like this obviously is how long the suction cups will do their job. Again so far so good with two full bottles of shampoo in there.

UPDATE: after 5 months the basket still looks great and continues to hold fast to the shower wall. I ma very happy with this product.
